Our Programs:
 

The first program and goal of our Kenya 2019 Neurosurgical Camp (located primarily in the city Nairobi) is to build a sustainable, collaborative and educational trip to serve pediatric and adult patients in need of neurological surgery.

 

Participants will learn about international health care by actively working in a hospital setting performing a humanitarian medical service. Education will involve training undergraduate students, medical students, and residents from Michigan State University in collaboration with residents from The University of Nairobi and its affiliates.

 

Patients in need of medical services are currently undergoing evaluation and coordination of their care in preparation of the program. We have implemented the evaluation of neurosurgical patients in Kibera to help patients who have no access to subspecialty neurosurgery. Our organization will provide comprehensive services to these patients in addition to getting the medical and student teams overseas for the humanitarian camp.
